This is one of my favorite pieces that I’ve ever done!
This was super dope to create because of the sheer size and also because it took me right back to my childhood of sailing the Caribbean without a worry in the world! The open ocean, bright colors, the sound of the water splashing against the hull, no humans let alone land in sight. The feeling of this lifestyle is where all of my inspiration is born!
I got to show this bad boy at Art Basel and on the last day of the event, I was lucky enough to have it sell to a young woman who fell in love with the piece as soon as she walked into the gallery!!
